The new mural that will be created on the side of Ilan Pop Art Gallery is the result of a collaboration between Broward County and visual artist Marcos Conde. The mural is part of a larger effort to bring art into the public sphere and foster community engagement. The mural will be created as part of a workshop that aims to teach participants the techniques and understanding needed to create mural art on a wall. This workshop will be open to anyone interested in learning about the process of creating public art, regardless of their level of experience.

After the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to help create the community mural as a public artwork. This collaborative effort will bring together individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences to create a piece of art that reflects the values and aspirations of the community. The mural will be unveiled at an event on May 27th, where the community will come together to celebrate the power of art to bring people together and transform public spaces. This community mural will serve as a lasting reminder of the power of collaboration and the importance of fostering creativity and connection in our communities.
